so, here i am sitting in the ER with my wife holding our 10 month old girl with these wires stuck to her. what the hell happened? how did i get here? how did we get here? after four hours and a quick class on febrile seizures we were sent home to digest the day's event. i don't think i have actually sat down and thought about the day, but i know there was a spirit of peace throughout the emergency. there was a calming feeling during the 911 call and my drive to catch up to the ambulance carrying my wife and daughter. |  |
