tonight i sat and watched glued to the tube by the story primetime live ran "Family Lost, Family Found".
how staggering for me to sit and hear that there was an 85 year old woman taking care of two children. her grandchildren. one of which will not speak - willing herself to silence.
or how a 55 year old woman was taking car of her 10 grandchildren with the help of one of her children.
at the end of this show i sat there and felt a huge lump in my chest feeling a deep sadness for these children and for these grandparents.
